We are a parent led charity supporting children with heart conditions and their families that have been or are treated on Ocean Ward, Southampton General Hospital. We offer hardship grants, equipment for use by families on the ward & at home, and social events to support children and families.

Story

Thank you for visiting my page, and I hope you can support me in my challenge.

Our son Louie was born with a heart condition, and at six weeks old underwent a heart operation at Southampton General Hospital.

Being told that our new born baby had a heart condition was without doubt the most dreadful thing to hear, and something that we will never forget. The thought of our little boy being put to sleep and undergoing a heart operation was terrifying.

We are very lucky that Louie's operation was a success, and now at 20 months old, he is a very vibrant healthy boy.

Of course Louie will always be monitored for the rest of his life by specialists, but thanks to the expertise in heart surgery he should lead a very normal life.

We are so thankful to all the nurses, doctors and surgeons who helped Louie and supported both Natalee and myself through what was undoubtedly a dreadful time. We will never be able to repay them all for their help.

I am not a natural runner, which is why this will be a huge challenge for me, I will be running the London Marathon to help raise money and awareness for a charity that is very close to my family's hearts.

Any donation big or small will be greatly recieved and will help save life's like Louie's.

Thank you

Jason
