I have signed up to the Essex Castle cycle ride taking place on 27th July 2013. They do 3 different rides, 25, 50 and 75 miles...guess which one I chose!

The route starts in Colchester, it begins going north to Sudbury, then Southwest to Halstead...then back past Colchester to Tiptree before heading East through Langenhoe before the return to Colchester!

After completing a 60mile ride last year, I thought I would move onto bigger and better things...I've not got back on the bike yet this year but will need to start training soon. I am going to aim for 5 hours ride time...thats an average speed of 15mph!
