Jason's Marathon

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my page.
I've been a musician within the British Army for 33 years having served with the band's of 1st the Queen's Dragoon Guards, the Grenadier Guards, the Royal Signals and the Band of the Prince of Wales. I've also been a member of the Royal Corps of Army Music since it's formation 27 years ago.
In March 2020 I turned 50 and wanted to set myself a significant challenge by completing 100 miles in running events throughout the year. Unfortunately due to COVID19 restrictions almost all my events were postponed. My main focus was to complete the Manchester Marathon, so all being well I aim to run Manchester in 2022.
My training build up includes several 10k races and two half marathons in Ironbridge and Cardiff.
My chosen charity for this challenge is the Corps of Army Music Trust. The CAMUS Trust is a charity providing financial assistance to its serving and veteran members. The charity provides assistance for those requiring some extra help for themselves and their families, and also for members benefitting from sports, training and educational courses. The well-being of the members and their families is at the forefront of the charity and membership is for life.
I would be so grateful if you could show your support to my fellow musicians, past and present, by making a donation however big or small.
