Story

On the 11th and 12th of July I will be having an adventure starting from my house in Matfield and walking to my cousins' house in Groombridge. It is 12.5 miles and I will be 7 when I complete the challenge!

I am doing it because I like Big Cats and want to help some of them not to be endangered any more.

As a fully registered conservation charity, The Big Cat Sanctuary relies on personal big cat experiences, overnight stays and donations to fund its Welfare, Breeding, Education and Conservation work. The COVID-19 virus is already placing a huge amount of pressure on our small team to find funding and continue to provide the best of care for our animals, so we are asking you to please consider donating to our Big Cat Support Fund. It is always our priority to keep our cats happy and healthy, however, it costs us around £3,000 a day to do this, and this is without any funding for vital conservation work! With the closure of our site to all pre-booked personal experiences, overnight stays and events during this pandemic, we need to ask for support. This amount covers cost of food, vet treatment, animal husbandry, bedding and the vital team members we need to care for our animals on a daily basis.
