Thanks for coming to our Just Giving page! I'm doing a 1,000 mile bike ride with a team of biker friends all around the south coast of the UK in July - and we aim to complete it in just two days. 

Bliss is a really important charity for us as my daughter was born at 28 weeks pregnancy back in 2005, weighing just 941 grams. We were told at times that she might not make it, she had to have help to breathe and stay warm, and she stayed in the hospital for 10 weeks. Bliss, through their forum and leaflets helped us so much as we learned how to cope with a baby in neonatal care, emotionally as well as the physical aspects like bathing her in the hospital and how to change her nappy while she was attached to tubes and wires! Bliss was literally our shoulder to cry on and we're so grateful that now we would like to give something back. My daughter is now 13 years old, and she's grown to be a healthy, strong and independent young girl. We're so proud of her. 

Although I am raising money for Bliss, my team is also fundraising for the Alexander Devine Hospice, a local charity that works with sick children. We really want to help make a difference to these children of all ages. 

Please, donate whatever you can - every donation that you make, no matter how big or small - brings Bliss closer to ensuring that every baby born premature or sick in the UK has the best chance of survival and quality of life. Bliss does that by supporting parents to care for their babies, campaigning for better neonatal care and enabling life-changing research. We couldn't have done it without them.
