Help us support the current COVID-19 crisis in Zambia by increasing oxygen capacity and equipment in intensive care and hospital wards, and by providing training on the management of respiratory failure and safe oxygen use for healthcare staff.

Story

Our partnership, the Zambia Anaesthesia Development Program, has been supporting the development of safe anaesthesia and critical care in Zambia for the last ten years. In this pandemic, we have so far run a successful PPE campaign (providing enough resources for all anaesthetists in Zambia and other multidisciplinary healthcare staff), led COVID-19 training, supported our partners in developing COVID-19 processes and guidelines, and continue to work building capacity for remote learning enabling a range of high-quality anaesthesia training to continue despite the limitations of the pandemic.
