Pedal Norfolk - 100 miles in 2 days · 2 May 2015

OCD Action's vision is of a society where Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is better understood and diagnosed quickly, where appropriate treatment options are open and accessible, where support and information are readily available and where nobody feels ashamed to ask for help.

Story

My name is Jay and I am 8 years old (will turn 9 a week before the rides) and I will be challenging myself by riding two 50 mile rides (run by Pedal Norfolk) over Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May, alongside my companion in the saddle - my step dad Stuart. The 50 mile rides have a minimum age of 14 and I have special permission to be allowed to take part. I have taken part in previous rides over the last two years but never this distance over two days, so this will be my biggest challenge to date. We will be camping overnight so I can relax and have fun in between the rides. I started cycling at five to help get my asthma under control and now I spend most of my time on two wheels!

I am raising money for the Charity OCD Action as my mum has OCD and also works for the charity. They help lots of people and families who struggle because of OCD and anything I can raise will help a little towards making their lives better.
