The Dorset Blind Association is a local charity providing services, support and advice to visually impaired people throughout Dorset. Our aim is simple - to ensure that everything we do is geared towards helping to make life better for visually impaired people in Dorset.

Story

Please help Dorset Blind Association to raise £15,000 to support people with sight loss to gain important employment skills and opportunities.

Get involved with #TryItBlind

Try something blindfolded! Eating jelly, icing a cake, putting full make up on... whatever will get the most attention!

Make sure you film it, upload it to social media, use the hashtag #TryItBlind and encourage people to text MPLY22 £3 to 70070 to donate.

Then of course, nominate friends to do something you choose! From writing their name to doing a portrait.

The funnier, the better.

And you never know... you might discover a modern masterpiece!

It is a light-hearted campaign with a serious message behind it.  Everybody wants to feel like a valued part of society, and we believe visually impaired people have a lot to contribute.

The project offers personal development, life-skills, employability skills training, volunteer and work experience placements, benefit help, CV support and eventually help with finding paid work.
