Playing on the pitch at Old Trafford! · 1 June 2017

Partnership for Children helps children to be mentally and emotionally healthy. Our Skills for Life SEL programmes are taught in primary schools across England and 32 other countries. The programmes deal with difficult issues such as communication, friendship, bullying, conflict, change and loss.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Earlier on in the year I entered a competition with Virgin Money to win the chance to play on the famous Old Trafford pitch on 1 June.

Last week I found out that I won! Even as an Arsenal fan its a great honour to win and play in the 'Theatre of Dreams'

I then wanted to turn this opportunity in to something that could benefit others, so I am asking for good wishes and your money to help support Wesleyan's chosen charity, Partnership For Children.

Please do donate what you can AND Wesleyan will match £ for £ what I raise!

The charity work to create a world world in which fewer children will need treatment for mental health problems by providing teachers, parents and carers with skills, support and resources.

Your donation will be used to fund resources, to support schools by giving them access to training places for teachers and the resources to deliver Zippy’s Friends, a year-long, whole-class programme which helps young children (5-7 year olds) to develop coping and social skills. It addresses issues such as anger, jealousy, communication, bullying, change and loss.

The funding will be used to work in mainstream schools and special schools in new areas across the UK.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
