Story
Hi, I’m Jayden Horne, I’m 15 years old, and last October I was diagnosed with epilepsy.
Since then, it’s been a challenging journey as I’ve had to learn how to manage my epilepsy while continuing with school and keeping up with the thing I love most — athletics and sprinting. 🏃♂️
This September, I’m setting myself a big challenge: running 60 miles over the course of the month to raise money for the Epilepsy Society. 💜
I want to raise as much as possible to help the Epilepsy Society continue supporting young people and their families who are dealing with epilepsy. I know how important it is to have the right support, and I’d love to help make that possible for others.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help me get closer to my goal and will make every mile count. Thank you so much for your support — it really means a lot to me and my family.
I’m used to sprinting 100m, so 60 miles might be a bit of a different challenge! I definitely won’t be running all 60 miles at a 100m pace!
60 miles. One month. One big goal. Let’s do this! 💜
