Jayden’s first shave · 5 April 2021

We help veterans and families on their journey towards employment.  The people we support face some of the most challenging situations in the Armed Forces community. Each year, our specialist team helps 1,200 people to change their lives, taking positive steps forward on their own terms.

Story

My name is Jayden and I am 11 years old. I started to grow my hair long when I was 8 years old, it is now 15 inches long! I discovered I could donate my hair to charities and that it would go to those in need instead of the barber shop floor. I will be donating my hair once it is cut to the Little Princess Trust once it is reopened after the 12th of April. I will be braving the shave on the 8th May and would like to raise as much money as I can for the Poppy Factory Charity so any donations will be greatly accepted no matter how big or small.

The Poppy Factory’s mission is to support veterans with health conditions on their journey into employment and to continue supporting them whatever challenges they may face. The veterans they support are often 10 years from service and face many personal challenges. 4/5 report a mental health condition, often alongside a range of complex physical conditions. Give a gift of a brighter future today and help transform the lives of the most vulnerable veterans and their families.

Thank you for your time and your donations, Jayden.
