Jaye will drive a 1995 300Tdi Defender in the Macmillan 4x4 UK challenge over the weekend of 1st – 3rd March 2013 in one of the Beds, Herts and Cambs Land Rover Club's (BHCLRC) teams.

The Mac 4x4 is a long-distance, annual, four-wheel drive navigational endurance event in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support that has taken place every March since 2002. Starting in the West Midlands and ending in Cheshire with numerous off-road challenges in between.

Jaye’s participation will help raise awareness of the event and subsequently boost sponsorship opportunities, all of which goes directly to Macmillan. The Mac 4x4 currently raises approximately £100,000 per year for Macmillan Cancer Support, with a grand total of over £860,000 (GBP) to date.

Jaye’s extensive TV credits include starring roles in; ‘Doctors’, ‘Silent Witness’, ‘Bugs’ and ‘The Bill’, she has also enjoyed a successful stage career including performances in; William Shakespeare’s ‘Julius Caesar’, ‘Antony and Cleopatra’, A Midsummer Night's Dream' and ‘Othello’, Oscar Wilde’s ‘A Woman of No Importance’ and Noel Coward’s ‘Cavalcade’ 

Jaye was most recently seen in Celebrity Mastermind where her specialist subject was Ayrton Senna, and in February she appears in her own one-woman show, ‘Nihal’ at the St. James Theatre, London.
