Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2008 Suzy (my wife) was diagnosed with breast cancer. After undergoing 9 months of treatment we thought she had beaten it and we could turn a corner and think about the future. That was until August 2012 when she was yet again diagnosed with breast cancer. As you can imagine this was devastating. So, Suzy now faces a minimum of 6 months of treatment and in her usual and typical manner is taking it on with an amazing and inspiring attitude without losing the big and beautiful smile that everyone loves about her!
During her 2008 treatment Suzy lost all of her hair and there was little information on hair care treatment to not only avoid hair loss but also how you can manage with hair loss. During her treatment Suzy met Jasmin Julia Gupta who was creating a dedicated charity, Cancer Hair Care, to advise, support and help women, men and children experiencing cancer with the added trauma of hair loss. Suzy has already been in touch with Jasmin again and her charity have already offered incredible support and advice to Suzy as she starts her new battle.
So I could not think of a more worthy cause to try and help by raising money through my London 2 Paris bike ride in 2013. I've also added some confirmed 'extra' events into May 2013, London 10K (May 27th) and half marathon. If I can find one there will also be a full marathon too!
BREAKING NEWS!!!
