Story

I am stepping forward to take part in the Brain Tumour Research Walk of Hope. Please support or join me and thousands around the country walking for a cure by raising vital funds for research. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this!It is the only national charity in the UK focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours through campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million per year, while fundraising to create a network of seven sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK.

My 7yr old Niece Claudia was diagnosed with Dipg an incurable brain tumour in February 2021 and sadly passed away in July 2021..

Claudia's twin Brother/family/friends are doing a 7K walk in Claudia's memory around Sefton Park..1K for every year of her life..

We just want to raise as much as we can for this very under funded research so cures can be found and other families dont lose their children..

Please donate as much as you can..
