Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am one of the volunteers who support the monthly sessions at Southampton dry ski slope with Solent ski club for the disabled. At the club,  all can have the opportunity to experience skiing, be it on skis or in a ski bob. We started skiing and discovered this club to enable family member to access skiing and he has enjoyed all aspects of skiing, both on the dry slope and snow!  Since then we  have seen many others with a variety of disability also enjoy the thrill of skiing, develop confidence and belief in themselves!

To enable this to happen the club have to constantly look to update and grow our pool of specialist equipment and sit ski bobs to give this experience.

I am running to raise funds to support new ski specialist equipment so as to increase our ability to and continue the accessibility for those who attend.

Please support me in my run by sponsoring me! It's going to be a tough 10 miles but your support will spur me across that finish line! Thank you!
