Macmillan Cancer Support

We give you the support you need to live life as fully as you can

Charity Registration No. 261017

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 22nd April 2012 I will be running the London Marathon!  Yipee!!!  It's taken 4 years of applying to get a place!!  I have decided to make this an opportunity to raise a bit of money for the Macmillan Nurses who do a fantastic job of caring for cancer sufferers and their families, so if you could donate even just a little bit it would go to a very good cause. Leave me a message too, because I love messages!!!  Thanks so much!!!  Love Jayne XXXX

CLUE:  My 20 mile training run took 3 hours and 51 minutes

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.

I did it!!!  As you may know, I completed the London Marathon in 5hours 27minutes 50seconds  I enjoyed every second, and took it nice and steady so as not to burn out, I actually found it effortless, and even had energy for a sprint finish down the mall and a jump for joy over the finish line!!  Check out the finish line footage on youtube, filmed on a mobile phone off the TV screen, thanks Craig!!) click here apologies for my noisy family, they went a bit bonkers when I came into view, sounds like they were having a great party!!!!

It was one of the best days of my life (definately in my top 5 best ever days!!)  I've entered the ballot for next year, but I suspect having my name pulled out the hat two years running might be a bit much to ask.... thankyou everybody for your donations, and for helping make it such a fantastic day XxX
