I have chosen the Heart Research Fund as so many families young and old are affected by heart conditions! My own father had a heart attack in his early sixties and without heart research, he would have unlikey survived. Instead, he went on to have another healthy 20 years. We have a friend who's baby was born with a Congenital Heart condition, he is one of the lucky babies who had the type of CHD that could be operated on. Many don't survive without organ transplants. I want Heart Research to continue to help find treatments and solutions for people young and old so that they can go on and lead a happy, healthy and active life!
