Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are running the London Marathon on the 23rd April 2023 to raise money for the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS). This amazing charity supports over 65,000 parents and professionals supporting deaf and young people. With their support they provide free advice, information, resources and events. 

Lisa (pictured left) - The NDCS is very close to our hearts. Our daughter Thea was born deaf and at 1yrs old was implanted with bilateral cochlear implants. Thea is now 5 yrs old and with the support from the NDCS and professionals around us, she is thriving. We are so thankful to have this charity by our side if we ever need help and advice. We are so proud of Thea, she will give anything a go and always with a smile! 

Jayne - I am very proud to be running the London Marathon for the NDCS and also to show Thea how proud I am of her. Thea is the daughter of very close friends of mine. She is the most determined, fun-loving, happy little girl and gives everything her all. I know she will continue to achieve everything she wants in life. She is the perfect example that being deaf should not be a barrier to anything. 

We want to raise as much money as we can, so the NDCS can continue to provide other families like us with help and support. Please help us to raise awareness and achieve a world without barriers for every deaf child and allow them to have the same opportunities as everyone else.
