Thank you for reviewing our page. Here at DAS a team were due to complete Ride Across Britain charity cycling challenge to raise money for Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD). With its postponement due to COVID, the team have decided to go ahead and complete a virtual challenge to provide some vital support to Alzheimer's Soceity. Through July the team will see how many times they can cover the distance between Land's End and John O'Groats by collectively logging their mileage from all activities - we have walkers, cyclist, runners, rowers and golfers! Alzheimer's Society is the only UK charity that campaigns for change, funds research to find a cure and supports people living with dementia today. Dementia is the UK's biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and there's currently no cure. We know it is scary facing up to it, but we must confront the biggest health and social care challenge of our time. Thanks to your support, Alzheimer's Society is facing dementia head on. Inspired by your voices, we're leading the way in support, society and research.
