ICYE-UK sends volunteers to live and work in communities worldwide where they learn new skills and make a real difference to peoples' lives. It aims to promote peace and cultural understanding through the exchange of people and skills.

Story

Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!!

As you may already know I will be travelling to Uganda in January 2015 as a participant in the ICYE exchange programme. I will be  helping out at at a primary school called 'St.Thereaza Buyege', which was started up by a catholic church in the hope of helping the community with their problem of low education. The primary school accommodates around 700 students aged 4-16 years.

I will need to raise £3,595. I will be setting up various fundraising events and various activities with the aim to meet this target. In addition to this I will appreciate your support and donations to make this dream come true.

As ICYE-UK is a charitable, not-for-profit organisation, any contributions you make will benefit us volunteers and projects that their organisation supports.
