As a Filipino, whose people fought for centuries for our independence. I have always been against settler colonialism and against any violent occupation. The violence in Gaza is distressing to see and is painful to hear but my distress and pain is but a fraction of the pain and suffering that all people living in the Palestinian territories of Gaza and the West Bank live through every single day. As a student, it felt like there was little to nothing I can do to help. 

But, I have fought for charity before and I want to step into the ring again to raise money in the hopes that I can at least make the lives of those suffering a little bit better. And I can only pray that there is a ceasefire and the Occupation is ended.
