J C Balls & Sons are once again doing the Lighthouse Club John O'Groats to Lands End car run, and this year we are teaming up with Alan Benfield Electrical.

It is not a race, but more of an effective navigation challenge. The idea is to get to the check points following a set route, without the aid of Satnav and just using the good old "grey matter".

We will set off from John O'Groats on the 16th October at 7am, head down to Windermere where there is the overnight stay and then onto Lands End, hopefully arriving on the evening of the 17th October.

Chris, Alan and Matt will be going along in Chris' Titan Range Rover, and Paul Waldron will be alongside his brother-in-law Steven Cholerton in a BMW X5, making it the clash of the 4x4 "Titans", ('scuse the pun!)
