The aims of NECCR are to raise money for the continuing vital research into the causes and treatment of Childhood Cancer. Objectives are: Find the causes of childhood cancer and to develop new treatments. Increase the number of children cured of cancer. Make treatment less distressing.

Story

I am one of ten puils at James Calvert Spence College that are trying to raise as much as we can for the North East Children's Cancer Research (NECCR), next February me and nine other pupils have taken it upon themselves to do an epic challenge; to run, row, and cycle the distance of Land's End to John O'Groats in a gruelling three day test which will test their stamina, endurance, and strength. The pupils are hoping to raise over £1000 for the charity, which helps fund research projects to increase the number of children cured of cancer, to make treatments less distressing, and to improve chemotherapy and other existing treatments to make them better for the child.

We hope you'll help us to achieve our goal; and remember, even the smallest donations can make a difference!
