Young Epilepsy is dedicated to standing up for children and young people with epilepsy. We’re here for them. But we need your support because epilepsy is limiting the chances of thousands of children today and may continue to do so for the rest of their lives. Together we create possible.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I wish I had an interesting story which drove me to run for this charity.  But no, I'm just a regular girl, with a huge appreciation for the health of my family.  I have 3 healthy children, aged 1, 3 and 5, and I cannot thank God enough for how easy my life has been until now.  They have the odd colds, tummy bugs and virusses, but that is nothing compared to what goes on around me. Let me share a few examples: I have a friend that has lost her baby at 8 months, a friend who's 8 week old baby had open heart surgery, a nephew with systic fibroses, a friend who'se 6 year old sun has Young Epilepsy....and I can go on and on.

I have therefore decided that 2013 will be the year that I return to one of my favourate activities - training for and running a marathon, and raise money for a charity that supports needy children.  I hope you can support me financially.  Thank you in advance.
