I'm walking 25 miles this December for the charity Sands (Stillbirth And Neonatal Death Society), which works in 3 major ways:

1) to support anyone affected by pregnancy loss or the death of a baby; 

2) to improve the care bereaved parents receive from healthcare and other professionals; 

3) to work closely with others to save babies' lives by contributing funding to research projects studying the following:

• the causes of stillbirths and neonatal deaths;
• better ways of identifying and monitoring babies at increased risk of dying.

I'm challenging myself to walk 25 miles in the month of December to raise money for Sands.
