From the 5th to the 13th of July 2019, Talan and Jed will be climbing Kilimanjaro with #GulfForGood to not only achieve something amazing for ourselves, but also to raise needed sponsorship for children in Tanzania. The Challenge: 

One of the world’s most challenging mountain treks. We’ll trek through rainforests, meadows, moorlands, via mountain huts, and up through “The Saddle” before the final ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895m).Typically, we will trek for 6-8 hours each day to eventually reach the summit. 

The Charity: 

This challenge will support two children’s charities in Tanzania: Larchfield Kids in Dar es Salaam and the Enjoro Primary School through the Foundation of African Empowerment at the base of Kilimanjaro. We will also be visiting the school t the beginning of the challenge.

The Cracknell's: 

Having never completed a challenge of this scale before both myself and Talan are slightly apprehensive, however we are also very excited and know that we will push through and complete the climb and any other hurdles that come our way. This will only be made easier knowing it is for a great cause too.
