It is like this. Once upon a time, in a galaxy far far away, I started writing in a note book. The note book became a diary, the diary became a scrap book, the scrap book got re-written about 67 times over 25 years. Five other travel diaries went through the same process until they gleamed with mischief, history, mis-adventure and smiles. 9 years ago I was in intensive care as my son hung on to life as Meningitis threatened to take him away from me. It brought the 7th diary of smiles, devastation and hope. After many years work the diaries were knitted together into a book which was published on the 26th August 2019. 80% of the book royalties are being donated to the Meningitis Research Foundation.
