Land's End to John o' Groats · 20 June 2021
We will be embarking on the iconic cycle journey that starts in Land’s End, Cornwall, and finishes at mainland Britain’s most northerly point, John o’ Groats, Scotland.
Our route is 975 miles long and will see us spending 12 consecutive days in the saddle – averaging approximately 80 miles a day and climbing a total of 14,700 metres (think Everest plus Kilimanjaro!).
Starting out on June 20th, we would like to use this ride as an opportunity to raise awareness and donations for an extremely worthy cause: Just Imagine.
Just Imagine are a charity that operates orphanages and provide support for children in India and Ethiopia. Their mission is to provide nutrition, education and accommodation to severely disadvantaged children and in particular those living with HIV.
100% of the funds that reach Just Imagine go to the cause - all of the UK base are voluntary. I know one of the charity's leaders and the work they do is truly inspirational and humbling. Please check out their website: https://www.justimagine.uk.net/
We would be immensely grateful for any donations and we thank you in advance for your support.
