MS-UK is here to support anyone affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), which affects over 150,000 people in the UK. We empower people with MS to live healthier and happier lives by improving the understanding of the condition and providing support where it is needed most.

Story

It is with much sadness that I write to tell you that my beautiful, gorgeous, brave brother sadly lost his fight to Multiple Sclerosis on Tuesday 17th February 2015.  He is soaring across the sky free from his restrictive, defective body; whenever you look up and see the sunshine and blue sky he is there, and hidden behind the clouds to pop out to make our day more special.

He passed away in his sleep at home, in his own bed, wrapped in his Arsenal quilt and surrounded by his pictures, books, cds and cherished memories.

Jeff touched many people’s lives, perhaps more than many of us realise.  He confounded medical science and fought back to live by his own rules.  Live he did.  Not a day went past without him laughing and making someone else smile.  Jeffers, Jeff, Mr White, JD, Son, My LB (Little bruv), will leave a huge gap in so many lives.  His memory will live on in his book Carpe Diem, his poems and his voice through the two songs that he wrote, performed and created.  He suffered daily, but with immense dignity and never complained.

Jeff believed flowers are for the living, and would have wanted any tributes to go to MS-UK who have been a great source of support over the years.  Jeff also contributed to Pathways, their publication on a number of occasions.  Thank you in advance for supporting our wishes as a family.
