Many of you will remember my dad, Michael Salter, who passed away in August 2010 from prostate cancer. He was a total one off - actor, food and drink appreciator, political activist, stone polisher, vegetable grower, synagogue attender, opera aficionado, reader, writer, and an avid Manchester City (and Sunderland and Charlton and Crystal Palace and West Ham) fan. He'd be well chuffed with this season. Most of all, he loved his family and we loved him. I've stopped pretending I'm fit, am training for this local 10K, and want to raise some money for The Prostate Cancer Charity. I hope you think this might be a good idea - helping them raise some money and me losing some dignity. Thanks in advance and lots of love to you all, Jeff x
