Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my "Just Giving page".

I am taking part in this years 87km (54 mile) London to Brighton bike ride, to do my bit for helping people less fortunate in health terms than myself through heart related illness.

My dad had heart disease, and died in 1993 with a heart related illness. Having seen that I believe we should all do what we can to overcome this major killer of people.

I was a cyclist many years and many kilograms ago, but have taken to my bike again to help me to lose weight and improve my health. This will be my first event for many years, and will come a couple of months after my 60th birthday.

I hope you will support this endeavour and help me to help those less fortunate than ourselves through this day of hard work and fun.....many many thanks

Jeff "Lance Armstrong" Shea
