Jeff Stelling's Football March 2023
Campaign by PROSTATE CANCER UK (RCN 1005541 and in Scotland (SC039332))
Former Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling marched from Wembley to Wycombe on Sunday 17 September, in honour of the late Bill Turnbull, raising money to fund better tests and treatments to save and improve the lives of men affected by prostate cancer.

Story

Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That's thousands of dads, granddads, brothers, partners and mates. That's why I’m joining Jeff Stelling’s Football March to help beat prostate cancer. This September, I'll be joining hundreds of football fans to walk a marathon with him and raising money to help beat prostate cancer. The money I raise will help to fund lifesaving research to save and improve the lives of men affected by prostate cancer.

Having grown up around Wembley, Gone to Uni in Wycombe and then somehow ending up a Wycombe season ticket holder I met Bill (Who's name this race is in) on a few occasions and enjoyed listening to his Commentary, particularly when we were promoted to the Championship during COVID behind closed doors at Wembley and he was shouting on behalf of thousands at home.

This event sounds a pretty good fit (something I'm not very) as well as a great cause. Please donate what you can and I should be able to get some matched funding from work.

Thanks in advance

Jeremy
