Jeff Stelling's Football March 2023
Campaign by PROSTATE CANCER UK (RCN 1005541 and in Scotland (SC039332))
Former Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling marched from Wembley to Wycombe on Sunday 17 September, in honour of the late Bill Turnbull, raising money to fund better tests and treatments to save and improve the lives of men affected by prostate cancer.

Story

Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That's thousands of dads, granddads, brothers, partners and mates. I was diagnosed with it in September 2021 since when I have undergone hormone therapy treatment and external beam radiotherapy, which so far have worked!

That's why I’m joining Jeff Stelling’s Football March to help beat prostate cancer. This September, I'll be joining hundreds of football fans to walk a marathon with him and raising money to help beat prostate cancer. As part of my training schedule I will also be doing the 10km 'March for Men' around Battersea Park on 23rd July.

Thanks to my family and friends, my wider support local networks including football and golf mates and especially to the late Bill Turnbull, I was able to talk openly about the condition, the treatment and the side effects. Thanks also to the fabulous NHS and to Prostate Cancer UK for their great support.

The money I raise will help to fund lifesaving research to save and improve the lives of men affected by prostate cancer.
