Following my diagnosis with pancreatic cancer in August, I was fortunate enough to be admitted the following week to the royal Liverpool hospital under the pancreatic cancer team where I underwent an 8 hour operation to remove the cancerous tumor. I am now waiting to start 6 months of chemo therapy in which time, My son Jac and myself are partaking in the ’60 miles in November challenge’ to raise money for pancreatic cancer research.
