Ignoring prostate cancer won't beat it. Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition – to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years we will stop prostate cancer being a killer

I have learnt and am still learning from experience about the stress, suffering and uncertainty caused from being told you are terminally ill with prostate cancer. I also think that we are on the verge of preventing this cancer from taking lives prematurely. Those who know me understand my belief that prevention is better - and cheaper - than cure. I want to help prevent my sons and the men you and I care for from having to suffer and die too early.

Your help and support will be truly appreciated by me and by the others who will not have to suffer prostate cancer as a result.
