This organization means a lot to me and the children that we mentor, please donate if you are able to.  This is my fourth year participating in the Race to the Top of Vermont (running up Mt. Mansfield) in support of EverybodyWins!VT reading/mentoring program.  This wonderful organization is very important to me as I've mentored for several years, I am on the Board of Directors and strongly believe that reading to a child increases their prospects for success and their self-confidence.  This is also a family affair for us as my oldest daughter Emily is a mentor at Edmunds Elementary School and is also on the Board of Directors for this incredible organization.  It's been a tough year and a half in all respects and for an in-school reading/mentoring program, we've had to get very creative to mentor as many children in as many schools as possible.  Our staff, mentors and school partners continue to work together to ensure these meaningful child/mentor connections can still happen for as many children in as many schools as possible.  I said I would keep this short so...my funding goal this year is $1,500 and once we hit this goal, I commit to adding an additional $500 so every $1 donation will result in $1.33 to support the organization.
