Sufferfest Knighthood · 23 December 2020

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.

I've set myself the challenge of completing the Knight of Sufferlandria indoor cycling challenge.

This is not just any challenge. It encompasses 10 Sufferfest videos back to back with a maximum of 10 minute breaks in between videos.

Now for you guys and gals who don't know what the sufferfest is. It's an indoor cycling training platform that takes fun and enjoyment from pushing you to your absolute limits and to failure fairly often. This won't be fun or nice. It'll be long, sweaty pai ful and mental draining.

I'll be looking at about 10 hours in the saddle to achieve this and heaven knows how many calories I'll burn in the process!

I appreciate any and every donation you guys make to the stroke association. My partner suffered a stroke and she now lives with chronic central nerve pain. She has good days and bad, the bad days however can be truly terrible.

Thank you all and wish me luck,

Jeff.
