Story
On 15 October 2014 after a hard-fought three year battle against ovarian cancer, we lost our beautiful Jo when she had just turned 52.
Almost five years on, as part of her legacy, her immediate family: Jackie, Trish, Anna, Beth and Jeff are participating in the Target Ovarian Cancer Walk/Run at the Olympic Park in London on 12 October 2019.
We are doing this, not only to honour Jo; but also support those who are living with ovarian cancer today and help find better diagnoses, treatments and ultimately a cure for this awful disease. We warmly welcome anyone who wants to join us on the day, by participating (a 5k or 10k run/walk or in Trish's case - stagger) or cheering us on - or by a donation to the wonderful work of Target Ovarian Cancer.
Donating is simple and your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you on behalf of Jo.
