Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hello,

My name is Jelilat Oyetunji, I’m a breast cancer survivor and would like to invite you to join me in a project to fundraise through the vibrant colours of African print. I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in August 2013. It’s an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone: I had 6 rounds of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction.

I started this project on January 1, 2016 by wearing the first of 366 different African print attires I intend to wear this year. My goal is to raise at least £100,000 for two cancer charities by December 31, 2016: Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support. Please donate generously.
Thank you.
