Myself and Michelle are taking part in the Great North Run in memory of our close friend Sarah Glover who sadly passed away on 10th February 2014 from cervical cancer and the lovely Patricia Morris who is battling Ocular Melanoma at the moment. 

Sarah & Patricia both received treatment at the Rosemere Cancer Center in Preston and we wanted to show our appreciation for how fantastic they had been with Sarah and now Patricia whilst they have had treatment there. 

Sarah has left 2 little boys behind, Jack 6 and Toby 10, no mother should have to leave their children at such young ages and we cannot express how heartbreaking it is for her two boys to lose their mummy so prematurely. 

Patricia is a mum of three with two beautiful grandchildren who has been fighting cancer for over a year. She is a very brave & dignified lady, just as Sarah was & although all we can do to help is provide love & support to Patricia & her family at the moment, we would like to dedicate this fundraiser to her, as well as in Sarah's memory, so that we can hopefully raise awareness of all the horrid cancers out there & help to raise money for the treatments needed to KICK CANCERS BUTT!!
