Story
I am running four marathons in four weeks in aide of Sarcoma UK for my beautiful friend Hannah.
The challenge will start on 30th March in Suffolk, ending on 22nd April in Blackpool (unless someone can miraculously find me a place in the London marathon). Between then, I will be running in the Manchester (8th April) and Boston UK (15th April) marathons.
I have not undertaken this challenge just as an excuse for a trip to Blackpool pleasure beach, it is much more important than that. In December 2017, Hannah, one of my oldest and dearest friends, was diagnosed with incurable synovial sarcoma. Since her diagnosis, Hannah has been incredibly positive and brave; she is a complete inspiration to us all. It is for Hannah that I am doing this challenge.
Both Hannah and I would like the money raised from this challenge to go towards Sarcoma UK. Sarcoma UK is a small charity and the money raised will make a huge difference to those affected by sarcoma. Some of the amazing work the charity does includes funding ground-breaking research looking into new treatments; providing personal support and expert information via their dedicated Support Line; and raising vital awareness to help every sarcoma patient get an early diagnosis and the best care.
Please do give as much or as little as you can, any donation will be hugely appreciated. Let’s do this for Hannah!
