Orchard is a medical charity that develops new and better treatments for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). One person out of 30 suffers from OCD, yet current treatments are lacking. Please support us as we seek to tackle this severe mental illness.

Story

I have worked with the national OCD service who treat the most severe cases of OCD. I have seen for myself how disabling OCD can be and that for many individuals it can dramatically affect aspects of their lives that many of us take for granted (work, family life, relationships).

I have been fortunate enough to be involved in some of the fantastic research that has gone on and continues to happen to try to improve our understanding of OCD and ultimately improve the available treatments and outcomes for patients who suffer with OCD. However, despite  being very common, OCD is an under-funded and under-researched area of mental health.

ORCHARD is committed to helping fund and advance essential research into OCD and bridge this gap.
