The Hibbs Lupus Trust was founded by the Hibbs family, born out of a personal journey with lupus and a desire to create meaningful change. Support is at the heart of everything we do. For those navigating the challenges of lupus, we provide a compassionate community and practical resources.

Story

Hello family, friends, colleagues and all who visit our Go Fund Page. My daughter Kirsty Francis and I, Susie Ebanks are joining a campaign to raise awareness and funds for the Hibbs Lupus Trust, via the Lupus to Lupus Challenge. We are doing this challenge in memory of our much loved and remembered Daughter and Sister,(Aunty; Niece and much more) who fell asleep on 21st June 2009 to Lupus). Jemma-Lee Ebanks will always be in our hearts. This challenge is also on behalf of others close to Jemma who live with Lupus.

Kirsty and I will be running and walking Our way to complete 200 virtual miles which is the distance between Lupus Way in Ellesmere Port and Lupus Street in London!

The Hibbs Lupus Trust supports people affected by lupus to make sure that no one faces lupus alone. We provide support and information to anybody affected by or concerned about lupus. Lupus is a chronic and presently incurable illness of the immune system. Rather than just fighting viruses, bacteria and infection by producing antibodies, your body starts to attack and destroy healthy cells, tissues and organs.
