Story
Action Against Hunger's fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and long term partnerships with the hospitality industry aren't able to bring in the vital funds the charity needs right now. At the same time, the vulnerable communities that Action Against Hunger provides treatment and prevention of malnutrition, water hygiene and sanitation provisions for need our help more than ever. So we're joining in the 2.6 Challenge to see what we can do to help.
Our 2.6 Fitness Challenge has simple rules:
- pick an activity from the 26 listed below
- Donate £5 for one of us to do it (please specify) or £10 for both and note which activity you want in the comments box (or message us). If you want to make it more fun, also let us know what song you'd like us to use as our backing track to your activity.
- Donate £26 to name your own activity (keep it clean/legal)
- We'll do that activity for 2.6 mins on Sunday 26th April and send you a video for proof
-Feel good about the difference you've made!

WHY 2.6?
The 2.6 Challenge was devised by the organisers of the London Marathon (26.2 miles) which was due to be held on 26th April as a way for people to fundraise to help save the UK's charities that are struggling to carry out their good work due to events cancellations in the coming months.
