<p>Thanks so much for all your donations - Al and I (and Tommy's) really appreciate it!</p>
<p>We're feeling pretty much back to normal now after the marathon and are just about to sign up for another next year - gluttons for punishment!</p>
<p>Al completed the marathon in 3 hours 41 mins and I finished in 3 hours 35 mins, was actually really enjoyable and no walls of any kind were hit. I've added a couple of photos so you can see the before and after results of our efforts!</p>

<p>Hello,</p>
<p>On Sunday 16th October my bearded man and I will be running the Amsterdam Marathon. It's a long way and it will probably hurt. A lot. Nevertheless we've put in some long runs over the last few weeks and are almost looking forward to it in a sick, masochistic way.</p>
<p>We're collecting sponsorship for Tommy's, a charity that's all about the babies. Tommy's funds research and provides information on the causes and prevention of miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth. This is a charity that's pretty important to me as a good friend of mine recently went through a really terrible time in pregnancy. She now has a fab little baby girl, but no mum or mum-to-be should ever have to go through stuff like that.</p>
<p>So, whether you're donating to help cute, squidgy, babies everywhere, or just paying for the fact that you get to have a lay in, eat a fry up and read the paper on that Sunday while Al and I go through 10 shades of hell in clog land...please give generously!</p>
