S.M.I.L.E Counselling in the last 5 years has provided 1-2-1 counselling to almost 350 young people which means over 3000 hours of counselling. In addition to this they also provided mental health work shops, information sessions and training to over 1500 people in West Lothian.

They  have 3 sites in Bathgate, Linlithgow & schools to reach as many young people as possible. As a result of Covid-19 we have adapted to provide online counselling via zoom, telephone and email counselling.We expect that there will be a large increase in referrals in the coming months & years. The funding we raise through 5mile 4 SMILE will go towards moving to a larger premsies with more confidential rooms which we can offer twice as much counselling and a tailored training room for courses to be delivered.
