Story

WE DID IT AND IT WAS AN AMAZING! Thank you so much to all the musicians and especially to our compere, Rev Philip, a true superstar, to the people who gave very generous raffle prizes, and most of all to you for donating, watching and sharing our musical journey..........we loved every minute. Watch the video here, and please make a small donation, suggested £5, to our very worthwhile cause!   Every penny we raise will go to the RUH Help Your Hospital Heroes -The Forever Friends Special Appeal raising funds for care packages for NHS staff and patients and also to help meet urgent needs on wards and in departments. We are a group of professional musicians, who came together for the first time last year, as parents from St Stephens' Church School in Bath to raise money for a much needed school piano. It was a very memorable evening! Almost exactly a year on, in these trully extraordinary times we are together again for this very worthy cause.

Expect to be wowed by our distinguished line -up of musicians from every style and genre; rock, jazz, bluegrass, opera, classical, folk. Including: Leon Hunt, described by The Guardian as Britain’s greatest 5 string banjo player; Justin Adams, one of Britain's most notable rock guitarists, you may have been lucky enough to catch him at the Bath Festival Finale Weekend; performing with festival headliner, Robert Plant; the amazing professional classical musicians, Jamie and Lily Hughes on violin and piano; opera stars,  Ashley Bremner and Kelly Sharp bringing songs from opera and musicals and much loved, local singer/songwriter Lloyd Edwards; together with talented local musicians/music teachersLaura Edmonstone, oboe, Susan Davies on cello and Jeni Reid on flute.

Reverent Philip, lovely vicar at St Stephen’s Church, will once again I am sure, bring much needed joy and laughter in his role as master of ceremonies. There will be a raffle (included in the donation) and why not make it even more authentic, by bringing along your own cheese (Pong will be once again be generously supporting our appeal) and wiine!
