Whilst under the influence of one too many proseccos I decided to sign up to swim the channel relay team with cosmic rays channel swim relay team.

Most of you that knows me well knows I really couldn’t swim 2 years back but after finding my new found love for the open water when a bestie asked me to join her 💕 there was no stopping me it feels amazing to be in the water I just love it.

I did two mini triathlons back in 2019 which led me to more training and learned  with York tri club to actually swim correctly then back to the open water when we was allowed in 2020. 

I’ve never swam in the sea 🌊 😬 plenty of lakes and the odd river swim but the sea will be a huge challenge to me and I can’t wait 😁 

Honestly can’t believe I made the team thank you cosmic I will do you proud! 

So looking forward to be able to swim the channel what a experience it will be 🌊💕🏊‍♀️

I would appreciate any donations you can spare. I realise 2020 has been an absolute stinker for everyone and pennies are tight,so anything anyone can spare will be greatly appreciated.  

The charity I am raising money for is COSMIC.

COSMIC supports the children’s and neonatal intensive care units at St Mary’s and Queen Charlotte’s Hospital by helping patients and their families and by enabling the dedicated team of doctors and nurses treat hundreds of babies and children each year in intensive care.
