100 mile Peloton Cycle · 13 March 2021

We help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services to ensure that our young patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Story

I’ve wanted to do something to show our thanks for Josh’s successful heart surgery. I have decided that I will cycle 100 miles on the 13th March which marks 1 year on! On a rough guess, I think I’ll be in the saddle for about 9-10 hours which equates to roughly the same amount of time Josh was away from us during his surgery.

There will never be enough ways to say Thank you to the wonderful team at Glasgow for fixing our little boys heart but I hope that this challenge shows how grateful we are. Any donations received will be specifically donated to the cardiology department and ward 1e where the staff work tirelessly to help save the lives of hundreds of little boys and girls.   Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

WOW!! Cannot believe I have hit over £2000 in donations! Blown away by this. I’m getting on the bike most days in preparation for the big event! I’m actually really excited about doing it now!
