On the 10th July, I will be - willingly mind, willingly - taking on the 100km Race to the Stones Ultra Marathon.

It is my first Ultra, and the sensible option would of course to be to complete the 100km in 2 days; however, because I am what is generally described as totally foolish, I will be attempting to complete in one day only.

I am raising money for Cancer Research. All of us have been affected by Cancer; people in my life are right now enduring treatment. I lost a Grandfather, and my Mum her Dad, because of Cancer. He would have been in his nineties now, and calling me a fool, instead of dying when he was in his sixties.

Please can you donate to this page? I want to raise £400 for this worthy cause, complete the challenge, and if you donate, I promise NOT to bore you RIGID with, 'oh, did I mention I'm an Ultra Marathoner......?'
